About Us

​​The idea to open Wildflower Academy Collaborative was forged by my experience as a mother of unique, neurodiverse learners.  Navigating the traditional school educational settings was incredibly frustrating -  IEP meetings, support services, comprehensive evaluations, etc. 

 

No matter what we tried, the daily heartbreak of seeing an innately happy and curious learner becoming intensely overwhelmed led me to homeschool.  The relief and elevation in mood and spirit was immediately apparent and transformative.  

 

We love the freedom of homeschooling  - it gives us the reins to personalize learning by interests.  But my learner also benefits from a more structured environment and opportunity to consistently share in the journey with peers. 

 

With Wildflower Academy Collaborative,  we create the "in between".  A comfortable space mindful of unique needs with the support of teachers to tailor academics, foster social emotional learning, and layer in executive function skills.
